Separate Hong Kong deployment from warehouse handover
State whether the equipment will operate at a Hong Kong facility or is proposed for receipt before an onward shipment. Identify the real end user and final installation country in either case. Hong Kong receipt is not a substitute for transaction approvals. Model-specific supply feasibility must be reviewed before an offer is confirmed.
What evidence supports a stock claim?
Request an exact BOM, dated availability confirmation, unit identifiers through a private channel, seller authority and allocation status. Match photographs and inspection records to the offered equipment. A catalogue, a previous shipment or goods described as in transit does not establish that units are unallocated and available for your order.
Agree an inspection scope before paying for it
Specify sealed-box checks or permitted powered testing, access arrangements, inventory reconciliation and the handling of discrepancies. Record who may inspect, who bears the cost and which findings permit rejection. Verify complete-system identity, installed memory, drives and adapters rather than relying on a GPU label. An inspection report does not replace destination and end-user review.
Compare the named delivery point and responsibilities
Ask the quotation to state packing, insurance, freight, delivery appointment, unloading and storage responsibilities. Specify who holds title and risk at each agreed stage. Payment, technical acceptance and handover are different milestones; a documentary payment mechanism alone does not certify equipment quality.
Check support at the real installation site
Confirm manufacturer entitlement where offered, warranty provider, parts handling and escalation ownership for the actual location. Warehouse receipt does not prove eligibility for on-site support elsewhere. Request the support scope in writing with the exact configuration and equipment condition.
Prepare the Hong Kong procurement brief
Send company, complete-server quantity, OEM model, required BOM, final operator and installation country. Specify whether you need inspection, a dated stock check or a planned purchase. No immediate stock or delivery promise is implied. Compare supply options. Complete-server RFQ checklist.
Prepare the next step
Start with the server platform requirements, then send the complete-server count, final deployment location and purchasing window. Supply, approvals, lead time and support scope are confirmed individually.

WhatsAppProcurement questions
Does a Hong Kong warehouse listing confirm available stock?
No. Check dated allocation evidence, the exact configuration, seller authority and inspection access. Listed or in-transit equipment may already belong to another order.
Can a Hong Kong handover replace final-destination review?
No. The real operator, installation country, intended use and any onward movement must be disclosed and reviewed before a supply commitment.
