Define one deployment boundary

State whether the request covers servers only or also network, storage and rack equipment. Identify the technical owner and the entity that will operate the cluster. Separate procurement coordination from engineering, installation and managed services that require an explicit scope.

Turn the design into a purchasing matrix

List each system, quantity, required part number and dependency. Include adapters, switches, transceivers and cables where specified by your design. Record what the customer supplies so that duplicate equipment or missing links are visible before ordering.

Connect storage and network requirements

Describe training or inference workloads, dataset access and management traffic. Require the technical owner to approve network type, port count, link speeds and storage capacity. Nominal adapter speed alone is not a cluster-performance guarantee.

Plan batches around site readiness

Link delivery batches to rack, power, cooling and network acceptance. Decide who holds equipment if one site is delayed. Track inspection, transport and installation milestones separately from the requested service-launch date.

Procure against written acceptance criteria

Agree inventory checks, hardware diagnostics, network tests and the buyer’s workload validation. Define support contacts and replacement logistics for the final destination. Send your approved design or equipment list for a scoped quotation.

Plan your Asian deployment

Choose the actual installation market. Sourcing, technical suitability and supply eligibility are assessed for the buyer, end user and destination.

  • United States: Request a dated allocation check for the exact system BOM, condition and quantity; a spot option is not a live inventory claim.
  • United Arab Emirates: Name the applicant, beneficiary, proposed bank and documentary requirements for commercial review.
  • Mainland China: Disclose the actual operator, final installation and intended use before discussing supply.
  • Singapore: Identify the operating company separately from the regional purchasing headquarters.
  • Malaysia: Identify the actual receiving facility, including the deployment city and rack readiness date.
  • Indonesia: State the receiving city and facility; distinguish international delivery from onward domestic transport.
  • Thailand: Separate the integrator purchasing the equipment from the company operating it.
  • Vietnam: Identify the buyer, importing entity and ultimate operating company.
  • Japan: Provide the exact platform part number and the receiving facility’s electrical and cooling specifications.
  • South Korea: Identify the operator and end-user workload rather than providing only a trading-company address.
  • Taiwan: Distinguish complete-server procurement from component sourcing or manufacturing enquiries.
  • India: State explicitly that this is an India end-use project; supplier inspection in India is a separate requirement.
  • Philippines: Specify the final facility and the complete domestic delivery route, not just an arrival port.
  • Hong Kong: Distinguish deployment in Hong Kong from warehouse receipt for a different destination.
