Supermicro B300 configuration examples available for enquiry

Three reference configurations for large-scale AI inference, each with NVIDIA HGX B300 8-GPU. These examples are supplied for made-to-order enquiries. Exact part numbers, installed components, availability and destination eligibility require confirmation in the quotation.

AS-8126GS-NB3RT-01-G22 × AMD EPYC 9575F; 128 cores total; 3.3 GHz3 TB (24 × 128 GB) DDR5-640061.44 TB total flash storage8-port XDR800 or 16-port 400GbE, plus 2-port NDR200

Storage totals and networking alternatives above follow the supplied reference sheet. Drive layout, usable capacity, port implementation, optics, cables and included services must be itemized in the final BOM. The Intel examples list 960 GB total flash storage; additional data storage is not assumed. DDR5-6400 describes the supplied memory specification; operating speed depends on the validated platform configuration.

Separate AMD B300 procurement example

  • 8 × NVIDIA B300 288 GB SXM
  • 2 × AMD EPYC 9575F, 64 cores per CPU
  • 3 TB host RAM: 24 × 128 GB DDR5-6400
  • 8 × 3.84 TB NVMe and 2 × 1.92 TB M.2
  • 8 × ConnectX-8 800G OSFP and 2 × ConnectX-7 NDR
  • 12 × 3000 W Titanium power supplies

This separate supplied example is not the same BOM as the 61.44 TB system above. The exact Supermicro chassis and orderable SKU, adapter port counts, NDR speed, power input and redundancy scheme remain to be confirmed. Power-supply nameplate ratings are not a claim of actual system consumption. This is not a current US-stock or delivery commitment.

For an offer, identify the example, server count, final deployment country, end user, required changes and target date. Supply feasibility and commercial terms are reviewed for the actual transaction.

Request an offer for this configuration

Start with a verified platform example

Supermicro lists the SYS-822GS-NB3RT as an 8U air-cooled, dual-Intel platform with NVIDIA HGX B300 and eight GPUs. This is a manufacturer platform reference, not a GrowX stock allocation or a complete quoted configuration. Confirm the exact orderable part number and supported options before purchasing.

Official Supermicro platform reference

Separate the platform from installed components

A useful RFQ lists the chassis and GPU platform first, followed by installed processors, host RAM, boot drives, data drives, adapters, optics, cables and power supplies. State installed quantities rather than only maximum supported capacities. List GPU memory separately from system RAM. Blank fields should remain questions for quotation, not assumed components.

Worked procurement example

Example request: one complete SYS-822GS-NB3RT platform for a confirmed data-center installation; exact CPU SKUs and RAM population to be quoted; mirrored boot storage requested subject to platform support; usable data-storage capacity and endurance specified by the buyer; network adapters matched to the existing fabric. This is a request template. It does not assert that a particular CPU, drive, adapter or service is included.

Network and storage decisions

Provide the existing switch models, fabric type, required link speeds, available ports and optical or cable reach. Distinguish cluster traffic, storage traffic and management access. For storage, identify usable capacity, expected read/write workload, endurance and any redundancy requirement. Require part numbers and quantities in the supplier response so that two offers can be compared.

Get facility approval for the exact system

Ask the receiving facility to review the manufacturer specifications for dimensions, weight, power input, electrical connectors, thermal load, airflow and service clearances. A rack with empty units is not necessarily ready for a high-density GPU server. An air-cooled platform and a liquid-cooled platform need different facility checks; do not substitute one without technical approval.

Freeze the version used for quotation

Give the BOM a revision and require written approval for substitutions. Identify the buyer, final operating company, installation site, quantity and target date. Specify operating-system responsibility, testing and service coverage. Existing Dell configuration examples are specific to Dell and must not be treated as a Supermicro specification.

Apply this checklist to your deployment market

Use the technical and commercial checklist above together with the receiving plan for your actual installation site. Country selection identifies the project destination; it does not establish stock, a local office or automatic supply eligibility.

  • United States: Request a dated allocation check for the exact system BOM, condition and quantity; a spot option is not a live inventory claim.
  • United Arab Emirates: Name the applicant, beneficiary, proposed bank and documentary requirements for commercial review.
  • Mainland China: Disclose the actual operator, final installation and intended use before discussing supply.
  • Singapore: Identify the operating company separately from the regional purchasing headquarters.
  • Malaysia: Identify the actual receiving facility, including the deployment city and rack readiness date.
  • Indonesia: State the receiving city and facility; distinguish international delivery from onward domestic transport.
  • Thailand: Separate the integrator purchasing the equipment from the company operating it.
  • Vietnam: Identify the buyer, importing entity and ultimate operating company.
  • Japan: Provide the exact platform part number and the receiving facility’s electrical and cooling specifications.
  • South Korea: Identify the operator and end-user workload rather than providing only a trading-company address.
  • Taiwan: Distinguish complete-server procurement from component sourcing or manufacturing enquiries.
  • India: State explicitly that this is an India end-use project; supplier inspection in India is a separate requirement.
  • Philippines: Specify the final facility and the complete domestic delivery route, not just an arrival port.
  • Hong Kong: Distinguish deployment in Hong Kong from warehouse receipt for a different destination.
